Our residency is a platform for artistic creation rooted in the South of Lebanon; supporting artists to make work, exchange perspectives, and build lasting connections. Through intentional cultural exchange and public-facing projects developed with local partners, we create new ways for art to be encountered as part of daily life.

What we offer
Zefta Arthouse offers artists time, space, grounding, and visibility within an experience that is deeply human, locally rooted, and intentionally connected outward; combining a heritage living and working environment, curatorial support, optional place-based immersion, high-quality documentation and a public moment, and post-cycle continuity through an alumni network and evolving archive.

Community integration
Each cycle includes one public event, one youth/school activation, and one local practitioner involved as host/mentor/co-creator; the intent is “real encounter, not symbolic programming.
